Can God Get Through to You?

Almost everyone in the world knows who Albert Einstein was. He was probably the smartest man (knowledge-wise) who ever lived! He was also, unfortunately, totally without a clue when it came to spiritual matters! Albert was a Jew by race but an agnostic by faith. Sometimes, God was so obvious to him as he studied the universe and yet his great “scientific” mind just simply would not allow him to surrender to the creator! He was just too smart for God!

Toward the end of his life, Albert could not escape God. As he looked at all of the great equations he had formulated in his theories of relativity, he saw all of the “order” and  declared, “I just can’t accept that God throws dice!” In other words, he knew that things that are orderly don’t just come about by blind chance. He knew that everything in the universe was governed by immutable laws; laws that could not be broken and he knew that there must be a “plan” behind it all and if there was a plan then there must be a “planner!”

Now, I’m not sure, but I don’t think Albert Einstein ever had an encounter with Jesus. I do think he acknowledged the existence of some “higher force out there somewhere,” but he had a bit of a problem with established religion.

Personally, I believe God was continually speaking to Einstein and it wasn’t God’s fault that Albert couldn’t hear his voice.  Sometimes, we’re just conceited enough that we think we’re beyond even God. But, the truth is, everything Einstein ever dreamed up is only a flickering flame in comparison with the intelligence of the Divine Mind!

Now, you and I aren’t Einstein but let me ask you a question: Can God get through to you? Is God having an easier time reasoning with you than he had with Albert? Are you open and receptive to hear his voice every single day? Think about it! I love you!
